Humanising Autonomy today announced that it has joined the World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution to expand their work on automated vehicle safety standards and test their human intent prediction software for vulnerable road user safety with WEF Partners across cities worldwide.
A safe and human centered transition towards Automated Urban Mobility is one of the key priorities for governments and industry leaders alike. Adopting an approach that benefits society requires collaboration between industry leaders, governments and policy makers. Humanising Autonomy is proud to be joining this group of the key decision makers to develop policy guidelines for safe automated vehicle deployment in cities and to ultimately work towards a vision of setting a global standard for Automated Urban Mobility.
Humanising Autonomy will be shaping Automated vehicle safety guidelines, foster a discourse for city governments in the EU, US, Japan and Israel, and deploy their AI powered technology that is able to predict the full range of pedestrian and vulnerable road user behaviour in real time. The software utilises the power of ubiquitous visual camera data to accelerate adoption rate of autonomous technology, build public trust, and increase human safety in cities. Initially developed for autonomous vehicles, the software integrates with all levels of autonomy, including driver-assist features for human-driven vehicles on the road today. The London-based startup has already deployed their software in the US, Japan, Germany and the UK.
